Susana Miller's tango intensive in Vancouver, 2009:

Here's a fantastic example of a traditional milonga in Bs.As. Watch the blond haired woman in the orange dress seating herself in the middle foreground of the frame during the cortina (at about 5:15 minutes in) then getting her next partner via his cabeceo. He is seated along the floor to her right (further into the room). He'd been looking for her as he found his way to his seat. If you roll back far enough, you'll see that she was the first to spot him. As she turns her back and heads for her seat, he follows her with his gaze. This sequence also shows how important it is for milongueros to get their partners from their seat. An interesting exception is shown during the same cortina. Watch the round-faced fellow in a white shirt filing along with the others coming off the floor. As he reaches the lower right corner of the frame, he takes a moment to put on his glasses, he then spots someone somewhere to the left, outside of the frame. With an eye-lock and a quick nod, he's got his next partner.
