Play Zone! EVERY THURSDAY

Practice is not just "work,"  it's also the freedom to play:  The strictures and codes that are needed to make a busy milonga function well are suspended at the practica, where it's safe to stop and start when dancers chose, to explore and discuss, to share understanding – regardless of different levels of experience.   At the practica it's easier to let our guard down and learn together.  It's a zone where beginners can build confidence and more experienced dancers will make unexpected discoveries.  As we collectively make a habit of regular practice, and take the time get to know each other better as dancers, everybody has so much more to bring to the milonga.

Play Zone! El Centro's Thursday Practica
Location: Edam, 303 E. 8th Avenue, Vancouver
Time: 8 to 10:00 p.m.

$8 drop-in / $50 for 10 visits / $5 students


Everyone is welcome. All levels and styles. This practice is a peer-to-peer exploration of the dance and music. Instruction available upon request. Refreshments served.
